Abstract:
The current state of disconnect within our society requires us to question our modes of interaction. As a byproduct of the disconnect amongst the communities within Detroit, the city has undergone many physical and social ills resulting in a derelict inner-city core which no longer contains infrastructure to support its existing population. Without the presence of an infrastructure which enables the residents to have a strong connection to their city, the communities within it will fall apart. Detroit needs unprecedented ground to base its existence upon which will compel its communities to interact with each other, helping to strengthen and revitalize the city.
