city formed by architecture, and architecture created by human, the relationship in between the city and it’s people are unseprable. “it is difficult to design a space that will not attract people” - what is remarkable is how often this has been accomplished. today, many public space seem to be intentionally designed to be looked at but not touched or felt, they are neat, clean, and empty. as if to say, no people, no problem! but to us, when a public space is empty, vandalized, or used chiefly by undesirables, this is generally an indication that something is very wrong with its design, or its management, or both. the public space become very important in our daily live. in this sense, space could become an important connection in between the culture and its people. the relationship of people and the culture connection is the metaphorical of embodiment of architecture and public spaces. therefore, by understand the needs and relationship of people could develop a better and interactive space for the city. as one could hope the outcome of this thesis will create a much more interact of space to allow people in the city to reconnect their relationship to each other. |
